Stealthmode Recruiting ("Stealthmode," "we," "us") operates www.stealthmoderecruiting.co (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Discretion is the core of our business. We apply the same standard to the information you share with us.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use a form on the Site or email us, we collect what you choose to share:

• Hiring form: name, email address, company, the function you're hiring for, and details about the role
• Candidate form: name, email address, LinkedIn URL, function, location, and details about your background and goals
• Newsletter sign-up: email address
• Email and other correspondence: whatever you include in your message

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. It collects information such as pages viewed, interactions with the Site (for example, opening the contact form or clicking a link), referring website, approximate location (city level), and device and browser type. We do not send your name, email address or form contents to Google Analytics.

Spam protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that submissions come from a person, not a bot. Turnstile may process limited device and browser information to do this.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiry and discuss how we might work together
• Run recruiting searches for the companies we work with
• Consider candidates for current and future roles
• Send our newsletter, if you subscribed
• Understand how the Site is used and improve it
• Protect the Site and our forms from spam, fraud and abuse
• Meet legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for targeted advertising.

Confidentiality and how we share information

If you're hiring. We keep your company's identity and hiring plans confidential. We do not publish client names on this Site or in any marketing material. We share details about a role with candidates only as needed to run the search.

If you're a candidate. We will not share your information with a prospective employer without discussing the opportunity with you first.

Service providers. We use a small number of providers to operate the Site and our business. They process information on our behalf and only for that purpose:

• Webflow: hosting the Site and receiving form submissions
• Google Analytics: measuring how the Site is used
• Cloudflare: protecting forms from spam
• Our email provider: corresponding with you

Legal and business reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to distinguish visitors and measure activity on the Site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Our Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Candidate information may be kept so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete it. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [contact email]. We'll respond within 45 days.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send.

Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. We will honor requests as those laws require.

Children

The Site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Links to other sites

The Site links to third-party services such as LinkedIn, Claude and ChatGPT. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
